Miguel Nogueira Leite, partner in charge of the French Desk at TELLES, wrote an opinion article entitled “Legal challenges to the realization of new trends and life/work models” for the Aspectos magazine, promoted by the Portuguese-French Chamber of Commerce.
The TELLES lawyer, who co-heads the real estate, construction and urbanism team, addresses the transformation of the real estate market and the need to adapt legal frameworks to the new reality, referring that “with the need to adapt to the new reality with the increase of new models, it is evident the lack of clear and specific legal framework for these situations”.
“Investments in co-living and co-working (along with others, for example in workation and student residences) have increasingly appeared in our daily lives. It implements and innovates in the most current concepts and trends on housing and work, but also in the ability to verify the work with housing itself in the real estate market”, highlights the TELLES lawyer.
