TELLES, as a partner of UIA - Union Internationale des Avocats, in the organization of the Seminar Drafting effective international contracts: special focus on IP and fashion and on new developments in sales, distribution and competition law, which will take place for the first time in Porto on the 23rd and 24th of March, will host, on the 23rd of March, between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm, a presentation session of the UIA.
Founded in 1927, the UIA is a global and multicultural organization, with members from 110 countries, which promotes excellence in the legal profession by fostering professional development, stimulating learning and professional networking.
The purpose of this session is to make the UIA known to the Portuguese legal community and promote networking between all participants in the Seminar and members of the legal community who are interested in learning about the work of the UIA.
This initiative has the special participation of Urquiola Palacio, President of the UIA. Urquiola Palacio is the second woman in UIA history to hold this position and was recently awarded the Abocacia Humanista Prize.
