TELLES has advised Beta Capital, a management company for collective investment schemes, on the creation and launch of the Sogrape Ventures venture capital fund.
The Sogrape Ventures Fund is designed to invest in disruptive start-ups with innovative solutions within the value chain of the wine industry in particular and the beverage industry in general, continuing the Sogrape Group's legacy of entrepreneurship while contributing to the acceleration of this ecosystem.
The fund, managed by Beta Capital, will focus on investing in early-stage projects with a positive approach to ESG (Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance) policies, through direct investments, alone or in co-investments.
Beta Capital, one of the oldest venture capital companies in Portugal, founded in 2003, is a management company specialised in investing in companies with innovative, responsible technological projects with high development potential.
