Ivone Rocha wins Lawyer of the year Innovation Award in the Energy Area

Ivone Rocha, co-head of Energy and Natural Resources team at TELLES, was recognized as Lawyer of the year Innovation in Energy by Iberian Lawyer, a prestigious international publication.

Ivone Rocha received the award yesterday, at the Wellington Hotel, in Madrid, in the first edition of the Iberian Lawyer awards that highlight the excellence of the Iberian market in the energy sector. For the winner this award is "the recognition of the work of TELLES in the area of energy, whose management I share with the partner Bruno Azevedo, in an approach to the energy industry in its entirety that proactively builds solutions in partnership with the clients".

Regarding the TELLES lawyer, Ivone Rocha, Iberian Lawyer states that “the Co-Head of the Energy Practice of her Firm, she studied innovative legal tools to help the market in developing following the direction proposed by the European Green Deal, harmonizing the public and private sectors”.

It should be noted that Ivone Rocha has 30 years of experience providing legal services to investors and companies, both public and private, both nationally and internationally. The TELLES lawyer has been involved in the evolution of the energy sector, namely in digitalization, through advising on investment projects in new technologies and also partnerships established with start-ups, to sustainability through legal advice on investments and projects with the aim of promoting well-being and socio-environmental impact, always seeking to promote and accelerate the energy transition.
