Eduardo Souto de Moura and Bárbara Mendes have joined TELLES team as associates.

Eduardo Souto de Moura reinforces the Family Companies and Corporate Governance team at TELLES, led by Carlos Lucena, founding partner of TELLES. The new associate at TELLES has actively worked on matters related to contract drafting, due diligence, and legal advice to national and multinational companies in merger, acquisition, divestment, and restructuring operations involving several jurisdictions. Eduardo holds a degree in Law from the Law School of the Portuguese Catholic University of Porto. Eduardo has also a master's degree in Corporate and Business Law and a post-graduate degree in Administrative Law from the Law School of the Portuguese Catholic University of Porto. Before joining TELLES, Eduardo Souto de Moura was part of the Corporate, Commercial and M&A department at Uría Menéndez – Proença de Carvalho and at Andersen and practiced law independently.

Bárbara Mendes reinforces the the Labour and Social Security team at TELLES, led by partner Gonçalo Pinto Ferreira. The new associate has developed her expertise providing legal advice to companies, working on employment disputes, manage employee mobility, to national and international clients. Bárbara worked at Miranda & Associados, holds a degree in Law from University of Lisbon School of Law and a master's degree in Forensic Law, focused on Labour Law and Procedure Labour Law, from the Law School of the Portuguese Catholic University of Lisbon.
