Ofélia Pinto de Queiroz, partner and head of the private equity and venture capital group, and Márcio Carreira Nobre, partner and head of the financial and capital markets practice, will be speakers at the 2nd Investors Portugal Dinner, to be held on 29 June at Montes Claros, Monsanto, Lisbon.

The TELLES partners will take part in an informal debate on regulation, with the participation of the Vice-President of the Securities Market Commission (CMVM), Inês Drumond.

The event will also feature guest speakers Alexandre Teixeira dos Santos (Chamaeleon); Basílio Simões (Vega Ventures); Daniel Nascimento (Semapa Next); Luís Quaresma (Iberis Capital) and Pedro Carlos (Shilling Capital Partners) to discuss the current framework for early stage investment in Portugal. The Secretary of State for Taxation, Nuno Santos Félix, will speak about tax incentives for early stage investors.

The Investors Portugal Dinner will also include the Investors Portugal Awards Ceremony, which will for the first time present the ESG Award of the Year to a start-up, founder, investor or other ecosystem actor that has adopted and promoted good governance, environmental management and social responsibility practices. In addition, as in the previous edition, the most significant investment of the year ("Investment of the Year") and the most outstanding early stage investor of the year ("Early Stage Investor of the Year") will be honoured. The purpose of these annual awards is to recognise, encourage and promote excellence in the sector in Portugal, as well as to highlight examples that may inspire new actions.

Investors Portugal is the main association representing early stage investors in Portugal. This year, it will once again gather national and foreign investors linked to the Portuguese entrepreneurial ecosystem for the Investors Portugal Dinner. This initiative gathers over 100 participants to discuss the landscape of innovation companies in Portugal.
