Joana Whyte, associate of TELLES in the European and Competition Law practice, has been elected President of the Fashion Law Commission of the International Association of Lawyers (UIA).
Founded in 1927, the UIA is a non-governmental, global and multicultural organization with members from 110 countries, bringing together more than 2 million legal professionals from all over the world. It promotes excellence in the legal profession by fostering professional development, stimulating learning and networking among professionals.
In this way, the UIA organizes seminars, training courses, an annual congress and many other events throughout the year, dedicated to its 40 specialized commissions.
The TELLES lawyer has been a speaker at several national and international conferences, presenting papers on various aspects of European Union law, being also the author of several articles in national and international publications.
