Ana Pires da Silva, associate in the Environment and Climate Change and Energy and Natural Resources practice areas at TELLES, will lead the webinar "Directive on Empowering Consumers for the Green Transition", promoted by GRACE - Responsible Companies.
This initiative aims to enlighten companies and organizations on the impact of the European Parliament's Proposal for a Directive (adopted on January 17), which aims to ensure consumer empowerment for the ecological transition through enhanced protection against unfair practices and better quality information, allowing responsible decisions and increased demand and supply of more durable products.
The TELLES lawyer will therefore analyze and clarify the measures envisaged by the Directive to ensure the objectives of empowering consumers and the impact of these measures on companies.
The webinar will take place on February 8, 2024, starting at 02:30pm and it’s expected to finish by 4pm.
