Informative Note | End of the Golden Visa Program

On April 14, 2023, the Law Proposal no. 71/XV/1st was made public, which, among other measures, regulates the end of the residence permit for investment (commonly known as the “Golden Visa Program”), already announced by the Prime Minister, on February 16, 2023. This proposed law will now be discussed and voted on in Parliament and, if approved, be promulgated by the President of the Republic.
