Vera Matos Pereira, managing associate in labour and social security law practice at TELLES, will be speaking at the Mini-Course on Migration Law organised by Núcleo de Estudos em Direito da Migração e Asilo (NEDMA) in partnership with the Academic Association of the Faculty of Law at the University of Lisbon (AAFDL).
The TELLES’ lawyer will be part of the panel dedicated to the theme “Migration and the Labour Market: Integration, Challenges and Opportunities”, where she will discuss how the professional integration of migrants can drive economic and social growth.
This initiative will analyse the legal framework of migration from a variety of perspectives, including its normative, constitutional, criminal and labour aspects. Teachers, lawyers and academics will be brought together to discuss key issues surrounding migration law, asylum and human rights.
The course will take place on 15 and 16 October in the Faculty of Law auditorium at the University of Lisbon.
