TELLES advised Inter-Risco – Sociedade de Capital de Risco, one of Portugal's most experienced private equity managers, on the acquisition of a strategic stake in the Veracruz Group. The Veracruz Group is a Portuguese-Brazilian company that sets the standard for sustainable almond production and is a pioneer in regenerative agricultural practices in Portugal.

The TELLES team, led by Guilherme Seabra Galante, Counsel in the Corporate, Transactional and Private Equity practice, was supported by associates André Magalhães and Catarina Isidro. The team provided legal advice throughout the entire process, including conducting due diligence on the group's companies, defining the transaction's strategy and structure, and negotiating key legal documents such as the investment and shareholders' agreements, as well as preparing and overseeing the closing process.

This transaction was carried out through the Inter-Risco Consolidar Fund and was financed by the Capitalisation and Resilience Fund. The latter is managed by Banco Português de Fomento and forms part of the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR).
