Leyre Prieto, partner and head of the European Law and Competition practice at TELLES, participated as a moderator in the 2025 edition of the W@Competition Iberia Conference, which was held on 20 May at the CEU Universidad San Pablo in Madrid.
The lawyer moderated the panel entitled "Private Enforcement - Don Quixote and the Windmills", a space for reflection dedicated to the challenges and opportunities of private enforcement in the Iberian competition context.
Each year, the W@Competition Iberia conference brings together some of the leading experts in competition law from Portugal and Spain to promote debate on relevant issues in this area of law. The 2025 edition will feature panels on topics such as the intersection between competition and industrial policy, the challenges of the digital economy and competitive dynamics in labour markets.
Organised by the international W@ network, founded in 2016, the conference is part of a series of initiatives that promote the exchange of knowledge between professionals from different sectors. W@ is present in more than nine European countries, as well as in the United States, Central America and South America.
