Margarida Rosado da Fonseca, partner, co-head of the EU and Competition practice area of TELLES, was speaker at a conference on “Competition: Balance and Perspectives”.
The TELLES partner integrated a panel “Challenges for transactions in 2024: FDI & FSR” (more precisely, the Foreign Direct Investment and the Foreign Subsidies Regulation), moderated by Pedro Gouveia e Melo, Partner of Morais Leitão, where the event took place. The other speakers were Tânia Luísa Faria - Counsel in Uría Menéndez-Proença de Carvalho, Ana Carolina Vidal, Associate da BLOMSTEIN and Nuno Alvim, Principal from RBB Economics.
Margarida Rosado da Fonseca is specialised Lawyer in EU and Competition Law and has been advising private entities and public ones for almost 25 years. In the last years has published two contributions on the Portuguese mechanism for the scrutiny of foreign direct investment and the EU one in C&R - Revista de Regulação e Concorrência – here and here – and co-authored the Portuguese report for Topic II - The new geopolitical dimension of the EU, Competition and Trade Policies of the XXX FIDE Congress - here.
