Margarida Rosado da Fonseca, partner and co-head of TELLES' European and Competition practice, is on the cover of the September issue of Advocatus magazine.

In a wide-ranging interview, the TELLES partner answered Filipa Ambrósio's questions about TELLES, her professional career, the new challenges of the European and competition law practice area in Portugal, the future of the legal profession, and other topical issues.

Margarida Rosado da Fonseca "has almost 25 years of experience in advising private clients and public entities, such as large transactions, competition implications in public procurement procedures and the implementation of compliance policies, as well as state aid and restrictive practices, merger control between companies, legal issues related to distortions resulting from state (in)action and even fundamental economic freedoms".

She has a professional background in European, regulatory and competition law, both in the private sector, in renowned law firms, and in the public sector, as a specialist technician in the Monitoring Structure of the Memoranda of Understanding (ESAME)/Portuguese Government, within the framework of the Financial Assistance Programme. She has also worked as Director of the Mergers Department of the Competition Authority".
