Pedro Matias Pereira, managing associate at TELLES, participated in the XI Postgraduate Course in Public Procurement, organized by CEDIPRE (Center for Studies in Public Law and Regulation), where he addressed the issue of contract modifications .
In his lecture, he clarified issues related to the legal framework for the modification of public contracts , pointing out its structural differences when compared to the Public Procurement Directives, notably its more restrictive character. Pedro also addressed the special regime of objective contract modification, currently focused on the figure of additional works and services, , as well as the special regime of contract assignment, including the subject of the assignment of the contractual position due to non-compliance by the contractor.
