Leyre Prieto and Joana Whyte, lawyers from TELLES' European and Competition team have provided comments within the public consultation launched by the European Commission regarding the new legislation on Vertical Restraints in collaboration with the AEDC - Spanish Association for the Defence of Competition to the Commission, in particular regarding the New Guidelines on dual distribution.
Leyre Prieto and Joana Whyte, head of European and Competition practice and associate at the same practice, respectively, highlight that "the new legislation will have a very significant impact on the relationships between companies and their distributors raising the need to review the distribution contracts in force on the date of its entry into force".
