Ivone Rocha, partner and co-head of energy and natural resources team at TELLES, was invited to participate in the meeting of the National Focus Group on Energy Communities, established in the framework of the European project COME RES.
This meeting aims to present and discuss the most recent results of the project regarding barriers and opportunities for the implementation of Renewable Energy Communities in Portugal. It is also intended to analyse possible legal and organisational forms of RECs and their suitability to the Portuguese context, as a starting point for the design of new business models adapted to community energy initiatives in Portugal.
