Carlos Lucena tells the story of TELLES

Carlos Lucena, founding partner of TELLES, tells the story of TELLES in an article published by Advocatus, within the scope of the 20th anniversary of ASAP – Portuguese Law Firms Association.

Throughout this article, the Chairman of TELLES recalls “1992, the year of our formal establishment as a law firm”, “the small office that Luís Telles de Abreu, Rui and I formed at the time, established the foundations of this house in which with such pleasure we worked", he highlights "the adoption of the TELLES brand as a distinctive sign of our firm" and ends the article by mentioning that "Luis Telles de Abreu, who gave me an internship in 1983, by then already a highly prestigious lawyer, a charming person, with an exceptional sense of humour, and that, having inherited it from his father-in-law, Dr. Artur Santos Silva, his very prestigious and well-known law firm founded in 1936, had the greatness of allowing us to build TELLES on the basis of this establishment, of which I am sure he would be very proud today. Keeping the values that have always guided us, we are a law firm with a very unique DNA and a structured strategy of continuous growth that will never forget the great family of partners, employees, clients and other partners that made us what we are today and the that we will be tomorrow”.
