Informative Note | Creation of a temporary framework for price review in Public Works Contracts

Decree-Law No. 36/2022, of 20 May, was published today in the Diário da República, which creates an exceptional and temporary framework for price review, with the aim of guaranteeing the conditions for the execution and completion of public works, in response to the recent increase in the prices of raw materials, materials and labour, with a particular impact on the construction sector, as a result of the pandemic situation and the effects of the war in Ukraine
