Informative Note | CNPD imposes a fine of €4.3M on INE for five offenses within the scope of the 2021 Census

The National Data Protection Commission (“CNPD”) imposed a fine of 4.3 million euros on the National Institute of Statistics, I.P. (“INE”), within the scope of the “2021 Census”, after receiving several complaints from citizens who participated in this survey.
